Luke 15:8-10 “Suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ InĀ  the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” NIV

Have you ever lost something and couldn’t rest until you found it? Do you remember what that felt like? All the things you have are important and special in its place but what you lost had value, had purpose and had significance. Similarly, God values us when we have gone astray from the fold. He will search us out diligently and rejoice when we return. Now that is LOVE.

What have you lost lately? Is it you, your focus, your direction, your self-esteem, your purpose, your desire or your value? Whatever it is I challenge you to search carefully until you find you. Light a lamp (the Word of God) search it diligently and carefully until it helps you to find what’s missing. When you find it, rejoice. Rejoice knowing that what was lost has now been found.

Don’t allow circumstances, situations and or people to cause you to loose yourself, your way or your purpose. Remember who you are and whose you are, and if for some reason you have never known the answers to who and whose you are; I would encourage you to search the Scriptures for in them you will find the TRUTH.

I know not everyone will agree with me on this and that’s fine. This is my conviction, this is my testimony and this is what I know to be true. I can attest that I was Lost and Found. I can testify of the goodness of God that helped me to locate what was lost in my life.

If there is a chance that you could remotely feel the same, pray this prayer:

Lord, I am in a place of uncertainty; In a place where I feel lost and I need your help

I believe that you sent your Son Jesus to the earth to die for my sins

I believe that he was crucified on the cross, buried and rose again with all power in his hands

I believe that he now sits at your right hand of power.

It is in that power that I ask you to forgive me of the things that I have done wrong and to draw me to the place where I am no longer feeling lost but where I have been found in you.

Give back to me all the things you alway wanted me to have and restore me to my rightful place in you.

It is in Jesus Name that I pray this prayer, believing according to your Word that you will hear and answer it. Amen.
